The Tribeca Film Festival returns this spring for its 18th edition, which celebrates storytelling in all its forms from film to TV, VR to gaming. Columbia University continues to have a strong presence at the festival with 34 alumni, faculty, and current students. Join in the festivities from April 24 through May 5 and see a film by a Columbian.

Tribeca Critics' Week: This inaugural section of the Festival features a curated slate of 5 feature films from New York-based film critics including Eric Kohn (IndieWire Chief Critic and Executive Editor), K. Austin Collins (Vanity Fair Film Critic), Bilge Ebiri (Film writer and critic, New York Magazine/Vulture), and Alison Willmore (BuzzFeed News Critic and Culture Writer).

Movies Plus: Films in this catergory offers audiences the unique opportunity to continue the experience of a film through buzzworthy conversations or performances after each special screening.

AT&T Presents Untold Stories: AT&T and Tribeca collaborate to give the world access to stories from underrepresented filmmakers that deserve to be seen. "Untold Stories" is an inclusive film program in collaboration with Tribeca - a multi-year, multi-tier alliance between AT&T and Tribeca along with the year-round nonprofit Tribeca Film Institute.

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival Shorts Program features diverse and engaging short films in competition with a crosssection of international and U.S. filmmakers.

Shorts - Funhouse: “It’s all fun and games” in these comedic shorts.

Shorts – Streetwise: New York shorts that “can handle themselves”.
