Please join the Columbia Alumni Association of Michigan and Maria Rivero González from RGNY Winery (https://rgnywine.com/) as we host a virtual wine tasting for Columbia University alumni and friends.
Maria will kick-off our event at 7 p.m. on August 12 with the tale of how she got into the wine industry. She will also cover the founding of the RGNY winery, wine trends, the winemaking process, how COVID-19 is affecting the wine business, and more.
Following her introduction, she will take participants through the how-to techniques for tasting wine like a pro. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions before the program closes.
The RGNY team suggests you try the following wine varieties from their portfolio; however, guests are welcome to drink what they have on hand or select a Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, or Rosé from their local wine shop:
