The German Friends of LSE organize an exclusive backstage tour of the Dusseldorf Opera House in English on Saturday, 17 Feb, and cordially invite your alumni to join. We cordially invite you to explore the inner workings of Dusseldorf’s Opera House with us. Look behind the curtain and discover, what is happening backstage ahead of and during a performance: From the lower machinery operating the stage, to side and back stages on to the huge costume store in the basement, we will discover places visitors normally don’t see.
Our exclusive tour in English takes place on Saturday, 17 February, starting at 2.30 pm. We will meet at the main entrance of Opernhaus Dusseldorf, Heinrich-Heine-Allee 16a, 40213 Dusseldorf.
After end of the tour at approximately 4.15 pm, we invite you to join us fora late afternoon coffee at Klee’s Cafe at K21, located just across the street.
You can easily reach the opera house both by public transport and by car: The nearest UBahn/tram station is Heinrich-Heinrich-Heine-Allee. The next car parks are at Grabbeplatz and Kunsthalle.
Please sign-up by latest Sunday, 11 February 2018 by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We encourage you to sign-up early, as we allocate places on a first-come, first-served basis. The guided tour is free of charge for members of the German Friends of LSE.
The participation fee for non-members is 10 Euros, which we ask you to transfer to our bank account.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Dusseldorf.
