Admission is free! Let's celebrate the biodiversity of nature this Earth Day. Join us to explore Grace Farms’ 80-acre preserve and enjoy programs and activities highlighting the importance of preserving woodlands and wildlife.
Please car-pool if possible due to limited parking. Event is Rain or Shine. All architecture is under one roof, so no need to worry about weather unless you want to walk on the ground to the ponds, etc. Bring a poncho if it rains on that day.
11:30 am : Networking Lunch at Grace Farms Commons (dinning hall). Lunch is "a la carte" and only credit card is accepted. No outside food is permitted. Meet Henry Hu (pic Below) at the dinning hall, he will be at the corner table near the window and will post a Columbia sign:
12:20pm : Brief Introductory tours by Henry Hu; then we join the Grace Farms Earth Day program:
1-2 pm : Nature Walk | to discover Native Birds
2-3 pm : Nature Walk | Preserving Biodiversity
3-4 pm : Falconry Demo – The biodiversity of Birds of Prey
After 4 pm: Tea at the “Tea Pavilion”, or adjourn
