Black Lives Matter Film Club Discusses Do The Right Thing Join BLM film club co-founder Eric McKissack and fellow Columbia alumni for a discussion of Spike Lee’s masterpiece Do The Right Thing (1989). Considered one of the greatest films of all time, Do The Right Thing explores racial tensions in a Brooklyn neighborhood. Roger Ebert wrote: “I have been given only a few filmgoing experiences in my life to equal the first time I saw Do the Right Thing. Most movies remain up there on the screen. Only a few penetrate your soul.” We hope you can join us for a discussion about this essential cinematic classic. http://chicago.alumni.columbia.edu/black_lives_matter_film_club_discusses_do_the_right_thing?utm_campaign=newsletter_august_6_supporters&utm_medium=email&utm_source=columbia48
