In honor of Black History Month, our inaugural Tunes & Topics series presents “Brazilian Salon Music by Black Composers from the 19th Century - An Overview of Henrique Alves de Mesquite and Chiquinha Gonzaga Piano Works.” Join co-hosts Chris Stacey and Daniel Balsam for a captivating evening of lecture/performance and a lively dialogue between the audience and our evening’s musician Alessandra Odazaki Rodriguez.
