ACAA: Make LinkedIn Work for You

April 20, 2017
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
ACAA is launching a professional development webinar series as part of our initiative to offer more professional development programs. Our first webinar is on April 20 at 7pm with executive coach Kris Ishibashi, '78BC, '82BUS. Kris will talk about what a complete LinkedIn profile is and some important settings that you need to pay attention to so that LinkedIn works for you. Like any app, LinkedIn is intuitive and easy to use, but do you know how to set up your profile so that it works for you? For example, if your profile is not complete by LinkedIn?s standards and someone is searching for someone with your exact qualifications, you will be prioritized in their search results behind everyone with complete profiles. So if you're looking for a job, having a complete profile will improve your results. Kris is a certified executive coach with over 25 years of business leadership experience with titles such as Chief Information Officer and Purchasing Director. She focuses on helping clients lead through change, communicate effectively, improve their emotional intelligence, strengthen relationships, and modify workplace behavior. She also runs NYC Careersearchers, a job search support group in New York City. Kris has an MBA from Columbia University and an AB from Barnard College.
