Ashley Chu, known as "The Krazy Koala", is a travel book author, Youtube creator, former model, entrepreneur, investor and advisor in Silicon Valley and Singapore. Koala is featured on the NBC Bay Area talk show, CNA, Straits Times, and various major media.

By 2012, Koala had completed all "7 New Wonders of the World". As of March 2020, Koala has traveled one million miles to 138 countries. As she is exploring the world and learning the needs of different countries and people, Koala has dedicated her time to initiate various volunteer projects and help the local small business entrepreneurs to grow their businesses, by sharing her resources and professional knowledge.
Koala's passion for the world and its people led her to put together a collection of her travel journals in these countries to record her experiences and stories with the local people, as well as observations and perspectives about the different societies, economies, politics, cuisines, culture, art, fashion, education, healthcare and nature.
She attended INSEAD and Wharton for her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Columbia University for her Master’s degree in Statistics, and New York University for her Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media Studies.
