The Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) has recently learned that one of our customer service telephone lines was the victim of a phone-related crime called "malicious number spoofing." Caller ID spoofing is when a caller deliberately falsifies the information transmitted to your caller ID display to disguise their identity.
