Travel with the Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) from April 22 through May 6, 2024, on a fifteen-day journey across Croatia and Slovenia. Experience the beauty of the Dalmatian coast and explore Dubrovnik, “the Pearl of the Adriatic.”
Begin in Croatia’s gracious capital, Zagreb, where touring includes the historic Old Town. Journey on to Slovenia to enjoy delightful Ljubljana and a tranquil boat ride on fairytale Lake Bled. After exploring the depths of Postojna Cave by train, continue to the charming seaside resort of Opatija, where Habsburg royalty once vacationed. In Plitvice Lakes National Park, see the famed turquoise lakes—a UNESCO site—and visit the 3rd-century Diocletian’s Palace in Split. The final stops on this Dalmatian sojourn are enticing medieval Hvar Town, situated on one of the most beautiful islands along the Adriatic coast, and beloved Dubrovnik. Discover the tiny and fascinating nation of Montenegro with a four-day/three-night post-tour extension.
