CAA San Diego | Columbia Venture Community (CVC) Meeting

San Diego, CA
Are you a Technologist, Investor or Entrepreneur? Are you a Lawyer, Account or Consultant that serves the Venture Community? Do you just want to be exposed to fellow alumni that might be investing in or founding the "next big thing"? Join us on April 26th at 5.30 pm at AleSmith for our CVC-SD Chapter Kickoff Meet Up! CVC was founded in 2006 by venture capitalist, serial entrepreneur, and community organizer, Mark Peter Davis. As a student at the Columbia Business School, Mark, an already recognized venture capitalist and founder, noticed that all too often his entrepreneurial classmates were unable to connect with specialists in fields such as computer science and engineering. Since 2006, the Columbia Venture Community (CVC) has been one of the largest and most inclusive entrepreneurship-focused communities at Columbia University—serving more than 4,000 members in 50+ countries. Now CVC is expanding to San Diego! We are looking for volunteers from diverse backgrounds to be members of the initial CVC-SD Board and help build a new chapter from the ground up.
