Dorothy Doppstadt is an executive and career coach who partners with clients to help with career transition, leadership skills, and personal empowerment challenges. Leveraging proven coaching methods with her extensive professional background, she develops a focused strategy for clients to reach business goals and personal aspirations with specific measurable goals. Dorothy received the advanced certification in Executive and Organizational Coaching from Columbia University. She focuses on the client’s agenda to clarify issue identification and plans of action. Using an executive coach is like taking a “fast-track” to professional and personal development, which can markedly reduce the learning curve in identifying challenging issues and opportunities.

She is a certified Master Career Coach with The Five O’Clock Club, a national career-consulting firm with a successful methodology for changing careers or beginning a new one. She works with clients on identifying job targets, proper positioning, writing a resume and cover letter that will result in interviews, along with how to strategically negotiate salary. Dorothy has 20-years of diverse professional experience as a national award winning ABC News reporter, screenwriter, entrepreneur, and university writing professor in New York City. She taught broadcast writing at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and received her MFA in film at Columbia University. She is currently a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator throughout CUNY Colleges on a variety of topics including; career development, marketing, communications, leadership, and stress management.
