Recent News on Caridad Sola (Continuing Education): "Caridad's work was featured in the most recent Art Basel Miami Closing Party at the Fountain Fair. Her art was greatly received resulting in an invitation to perform in the Grace Exhibition Space at the Fountain Art Fair NY. Due to the success of that show, Art For Progress (AFP) invited her to curate the Performance Art at the Brooklyn Beat Music & Arts Festival held during Bushwik Open Studios. In addition to curating the work, she created 2 new performance art pieces which can be seen on her website. www.CaridadSola.com. In a recent review of her work, AFP stated: "Caridad has a way of enticing people into her world, and then completely turning the tables on whats expected." Her photography was published in the book 'ONE LIFE', as well as in the France & China Edition of Numero' Magazine. In addition to exhibiting Caridad has been teaching an installation art workshop with Artistic Dreams International and her work was presented by Art Experience NY at the Cuba Art New York Symposium held at NYU.
