guideCOLUMBIA
If you want to give back to Columbia with your expertise, time, or thoughts, the CAA welcomes you as a volunteer, providing the best linkages and opportunities to leverage your participation for the greater Columbia community.
To learn more about volunteering, contact the alumni relations office:
Graduate School of Business
The Columbia Business School's Ambassador Program enlists alumni from the MBA program to interview applicants in more than 50 countries. As a volunteer you will assist in evaluating candidates through assessment of their interviewing and communication skills, the quality of their work experience, and the match of the applicant with the MBA program.
Help the Columbia Business School’s Executive MBA program increase the size and quality of the EMBA applicant pool by becoming an “EMBAssador” and recommend at least one exceptional person to the EMBA program.
As a Columbia Career Network (CCN) mentor, you will be highlighted as an alumnus/a who particularly welcomes current students contacting you with questions about the industry you work in, your career path, and your perspective on how to make the most of their time at Columbia Business School.
Columbia College and Columbia Engineering
Alumni Representative Committee (ARC) members help the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by interviewing applicants, representing Columbia at local college fairs and hosting regional programs for admitted students, so that as many students as possible have the opportunity to learn about the unique Columbia experience firsthand.
Barnard
Barnard Alumnae Admissions Representatives (BAARs) are designated alumnae who act as official links between the Admissions Office and students in their communities. They help the College identify and cultivate outstanding high school students and personalize the College admissions process. They represent Barnard at college fairs, interview prospective students, and host receptions for accepted students.
