A Strong Sense of Generations, the first exhibit in the library of the Columbia Alumni Center, features Ad Reinhardt’s 1930’s covers from the Columbia Jester, drawings by Oliver Neshamkin ’35CC ’37GSAS, who served on the Jester staff, Columbia memorabilia collected by his son, Paul Neshamkin ’63CC, and artifacts from the Columbia University Archives. The exhibition, on display now through October 23, is co-curated by Jerry Kisslinger, Executive Director for Communications in the Office of Alumni and Development, and Jocelyn Wilk, Columbia University archivist.

Bastille Day 5-K Run, Walk & Block Party

Chicago's West Loop near Jackson & Aberdeen

Represent the Columbia University Club of Chicago team in the 5-K race or just meet up to socialize with Club members afterwards (look for the blue and white balloons). Wear your Columbia gear to the race.! The finish line area funnels into the Block Party, which opens just as the 'start gun' for the race goes off. Non-runners are welcome at the Block Party, to enjoy the food and beer (available for purchase) and live music. The race benefits the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls.
