New Graduates

Alumni e-mail service is available two to three months after graduation; during this period, alumni will continue to have access to their student e-mail accounts. Please note: graduates of affiliate schools are not currently eligible for this service. Affiliate school services can be found on the CUIT Web site.

Words to the Wise

The new e-mail service is provided through a partnership between the Columbia Alumni Association and Google (one of the first partnerships of its kind). The service will have all the features of Gmail, including relevant advertising displayed near your inbox. Read more about Google's policies at Google Help. Read more about the CAA's e-mail services in our E-mail FAQs.

E-mail Forwarding

Columbia still offers e-mail forwarding, which allows you to maintain an address of YOURUNI@columbia.edu no matter what internet service provider you use. Learn more.

Your University Network ID (UNI) is a pre-assigned username that allows you to access Columbia's online resources. Your PIN is an assigned number used to set your password. Learn more in our UNI FAQ.
