The Alumni Career Development department continues the relationship between the Center for Career Education and alumni in the development and management of their lifelong career-education process. Working closely with University, school, and college Alumni relations offices, Alumni Career Development helps alumni with their own career development and employment options as well as helping alumni assist others in their career development. Alumni Career Development helps alumni navigate lifelong career learning taking into account career transitions, work/life balance values, and other topics common to alumni career seekers.

Through one-on-one counseling, alumni publications, and targeted alumni programs and workshops, Alumni Career Development helps alumni with career transitions, self-assessment, job-search skills and tools, and career planning.
